Our range topping DOLLE NORMANDIE staircase offers you a premium feel wider and deeper treads with a handrail from the top to the bottom. Combining this with a longer pitch, the NORMANDIE is a very comfortable stair to use and can be cut suit your application, meaning it can be adapted to suit your needs. We also offer with quarter turn option left or right? Just select the NORMANDIE configuration that suits your project. You can also choose an open or closed riser? the closed riser would be a safer option as this closes off the gap between the treads. The staircase is made of quality untreated spruce wood and comes complete with a handrail for one side that can be mounted on the left- or right-hand side. The handrail has two middle sections, one at the handrail height and a second at knee height for extra security providing a comfortable and safe climb. You also have an option to add a second handrail banister to the other side for maximum safety and comfort. This is perfect if you intend to install in the centre of a floor space and not up against a wall.

14 treads have a depth of 19 cm and housed into the strings. For the staircase to be comfortable it will require a minimum opening of 175cm x 80cm. The straight flight variant has 14 treads and a maximum floor-to-floor height of 312.3 cm. A quarter turn format has 16 treads and reaches a maximum floor-to-floor height of 353.4 cm. Both staircases can be easily cut to suit. The stair is supplied in flat pack form, we supply full instructions to aid easy installation. To give you an idea on the quality standards the NORMANDIE staircase is tested with a point loading of 300 kgs.

The staircase comes untreated and ready for you to paint, stain or varnish to match the design of the space. Fixings to construct the staircase are included as part of the kit. Just be aware that but screws and angle brackets for mounting on floor and wall are not included.

All DOLLE mezzanine stairs are made of FSC® certified wood and are designed and manufactured at our headquarters in Denmark under ISO certified systems. Our timber is sourced from renewable FSC® certified forests.
